Title: Manager - FP&A and Reporting
Description:
The Manager – FP&A and Reporting role will participate in a number of key financial processes including financial planning and analysis, internal management reporting, support of quarterly external reporting processes and other ad-hoc business analysis. The role includes providing financial leadership and business analysis to management by assisting with various financial, planning and analysis processes including our Annual Operating Plan and quarterly/weekly forecasting processes. In addition, this role will play a key role in delivering key internal reporting to management on a monthly/quarterly basis to analyze business results and inform decision making. This role will also include preparation of various reporting and analysis to support the CFO and other internal business customers. This role is hands on with responsibility for executing and upgrading a complex forecast model, preparation of key management reports and other financial analysis.
Responsibilities:
- - Job requires an individual with a progressive finance background including exposure to FP&A, management reporting and external reporting. The individual must have high attention to detail, ability to manage a number of deliverables, advanced financial modeling skills, ability to work cross functionally with people across the organization, and strong communication skills (both oral and written)
- - Assist with preparation and analysis of annual plan and quarterly/weekly forecast processes
- - Prepare monthly/quarterly internal management reporting used by the Board of Directors and management team to inform decision making
- - Provide thought leadership in enhancing existing FP&A and reporting processes and implementing new processes as needed
- - Assist with additional financial and business related analysis in support of the CFO function
Requirements:
- -5-10 years progressive finance/accounting experience with a focus on business analysis and financial reporting
- -Experience with annual planning or forecasting processes
- -Proficient in use of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel and PowerPoint), Hyperion/Essbase and other financial systems
- -Exposure and understanding of GAAP, financial analytics, financial reporting, and budgeting
- -Experience working cross functionally in an organization
- -BA/BS degree in finance/accounting
- -CPA or MBA preferred
