Title: Digital Community Specialist
Description:
The Digital Community Specialist will bring employer brand and Sleep Number culture to life for potential employees. They will work closely with the Public Relations Manager and Director of Talent Acquisition to develop and execute comprehensive digital/social strategies that increase awareness and consideration for the Sleep Number employer brand and help attract potential employees.
Responsibilities Include:

-Support Public Relations Manager and Director of Talent Acquisition in the development of digital employer-brand strategy and annual plan
-
-Provide strategic direction for employer-brand agency partners (priorities, target audiences, etc.) in planning and execution
-
-Oversee and implement all national and local employer-brand social media outreach and manage the communities on Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and other employer brand social/digital platforms
-
-Develop robust annual online content strategy (written, videos, photos, etc.) that’s aligned and integrated with Sleep Number employer brand
-
-Be the online voice of the Sleep Number employer brand through social channels including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.

-Help merchandise high-impact results within the organization and provide reporting

-Operate as day-to-day tactical contact for employer brand social agency partners
-
-Assist public relations manager with periodic brand and product social media activities
-
-Work with agency, Human Capital and public relations manager to monitor and measure results against clearly defined key performance indicators (KPIs)
Requirements:
-
-3-5+ years social media, communications, marketing, PR or related background required
-
-Agency experience preferred, but not required
-
-4-year bachelor’s degree in communications, public relations, journalism, integrated marketing, or social media
-
-Strong social media/online writing experience and working knowledge of social media platforms required

-Strong computer skills required: Microsoft Office Suite, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube
-
-HR, consumer products, or retail experience preferred
-
-Able to organize, prioritize work, meet deadlines and work independently
-
-Able to work well in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
-
-Able to be flexible and to handle multiple projects in an organized, timely manner
-
-Able to follow schedules and complete required documentation and reports
-
-Able to remain calm under pressure
