Sleep Number® Modular Base Legs

Rated 4 out of 5 by from To be brief, the Sleep Number bed gives you options of firmness that other beds lack. That's just a fact. It's also divisible in that one person can have it firmer than the other. We have two of these beds, one we've owned 15 years, the other 8. No problems with either, except when we move, which we've done 5 times. It's always a hassle to gather up the parts to re-assemble the beds (no matter how often you tell movers to keep it all together). The tendency is for the attachment hose to leak till you adjust it. To be clear, the beds themselves do not leak and they are incredibly durable. We have had toddlers jumping on them, a lot. Moving them is a lot easier than regular beds b/c it's very lightweight and that's a huge upside. The downside is that the legs are really just customized risers. They are not comparably strong, durable or attractive. (You cannot substitute just any risers, either) On the other hand, it's also true that you could use a standard frame if you wanted, and eliminate that as an issue. Overall, it's a clever way to have adjustable firmness for people with different needs. It's not inexpensive up front, but it's outlasted our other beds.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from love this bed! We are both sleeping better and wake without back pain! The only question I have is that I wonder if it is possible to change legs. We originally bought the shorter 'low profile' legs and have realized we would prefer the taller legs. If it's not possible to change out the legs, would it hurt the bed if we put it on risers?

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Reviced bed and base without legs Worst purchase ever, bed and base was received without legs. A $3500 bed and base was received without legs, additional $119, for 9 paces of short plastic, you got o be kidding. Bed was set up and has a bad chemical smell, can't sleep in it tonight.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not Durable & Not Long-lasting LIke the frame, the legs are brittle plastic that crumbled at the stress-points after a few years; now we find that it is $120 to replace them. Can't tell if that is the price for each or all the legs; two of ours have failed so far. Queen-sized bed, max total occupant weight less than 400 pounds, including pets. Will use plywood to reinforce frame and 2x4s to replace legs.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great product! I purchased these legs for my new P6 bed last year. We were very happy to know that they went on our frame so easily and they are so strong! We couldn't be happier, but we would have preferred they be longer. Other than that, I am really happy with our choices!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent bed legs I bought a set of thse for my new Sleepnumber C3 queen bed, and I was surprised at the quality of construction and stoutness of these plastic bed legs, nearly as rigid as lathe turned hardwood. Another thing I like is that there are six legs, three per side of the bed, which provides much better strength than a four poster. The legs also came with bolts, washers, and wingnuts, requiring not so much as a screwdriver to mount. The legs also come with rubberized self adhesive pads for the leg bottoms to prevent skid and vibration against the floor. I really like the quality, rigidity, and ease of installation.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from SC Knows what it's doing... NO MORE METAIL BED FRAMES! horray! I HATED having to move my furniture around and having to deal with the metal frames that are bulky and seperated from the bed itself causing scrapes and bruises. Never again! The legs attach to the foundation, BRILLIANT! It's all one piece now when you move your bed and significantly lighter than any old bed frames or rails. Horray for invention!
