Does it Wash Well?
I am answering my own post of a few days ago where I asked others how well this blanket washes. It was after I posted that question that I noticed the tag which directs the consumer to wash the blanket before use. So, I washed it exactly as directed. The result was that, no, it does not look new anymore. It slightly lost the nice sheen of the material. It is quite wrinkly, as you would expect from cotton fabric. And, my once-generously-sized 88" x 94" blanket, now measures 86" x 92". A two inch shrinkage both directions is noticeable. I think the consumer should be told this will happen. I will still keep and enjoy my blanket, but it is disappointing.

How well does it wash?
I received my in-balance blanket yesterday. I love the sheen of the fabric and find it very comfortable and nice on my bed. However, it arrived in a very wrinkled condition. I put it in the dryer with a damp towel and that didn't help much. I even steamed pressed it lightly. Still doesn't look great. I am considering washing it to get the wrinkles out buy would like to hear how others have found the results of washing. Does it come out no longer looking new? I read the review that said hers shrank. I am really afraid to wash it do fear it will look worse than it does now.

In Balance Blanket
Received our In Balance Blanket shipment yesterday. Very pleased with the look and feel of the product. Tried it on the bed for fit which was great. Per packaging King size is 107" x 96". Tag on product said to wash prior to use. Did so this morning in cold water and dried in a low heat dryer as instructed. Product shrunk . . . is this normal? I could tell from the way it fell on the bed that the size was not the same as yesterday. It now measures 103" x 92". It still fits, but with not much to spare. I would be afraid to launder and dry it again. Can it be drycleaned?

Great light weight summer comforter!! King size fits decently atop our California king bed. It stayed in place all night....no sliding or tugging as was true of the quilted bedspread we previously used. My husband is frequently too warm, but slept comfortably all night. Looks like this might even fit in our front loading washing machine at home. Great product!
