Sleep Number ® CoolFit ⢠Foam Layer
Just what our bed needed!
We purchased our sleep number P5 bed and had it for a couple of weeks, but it was still missing something. We opted not to go for the most expensive mattress, but middle of the road. We could feel the air chambers once in a while and just needed something with a little more cushion or padding. The Cool Fit memory foam mattress top was the perfect solution. I saw many reviews that stated it was smaller than their bed, so was skeptical, however we have a King, flex top and it fit perfect to a tee, both the top, bottom and sides. It was not short at all. It added a nice 2" to our bed and made the world of difference. Not only is it very cool, but the comfort level is outstanding. Great product, as all of our products have been nothing but perfect. Thank you Sleep Number!!

Entirely too small
While I have read this pad was intended to be smaller than the mattress, my husband and I find it to be very uncomfortable. We have a queen size bed, which feels more like a full sized because we squish into the center to avoid the outer edge of the pad (not fun to sleep on). I think the design is horrible and we have slept more uncomfortably with the pad than before we put it on. It is coming off this weekend and being turned into a dog bed.
I do not feel that it needs to be shorter on each side as I still have plenty of room with my sleep number sheets to accommodate a pad that extends to the edges of the bed. Horrible design and makes me not want to try any other pad (from Sleep Number) on our Sleep Number bed.

Before You Buy it Check the size.
"I like the comfort of this pad, but it doesn't seem wide enough, it stops 5" away from the edge of my bed not 2",

I like the comfort of this pad, but for as expensive as it was I'm a little disappointed that it doesn't seem wide enough, it stops 5 inches away from the edge of my bed when it is aligned to the other side perfectly, and so when I sleep against the edge of my bed I feel the unevenness of where the mattress topper stops and I don't like that at all, I just got it so may end up returning it

Sleeping on the couch a lot
We bought this pad since our bed is around 8 yrs old and wanted extra padding. Sales person said it was a cooling pad as well but my husband & I are hotter now than with out the pad. Pad slips from side to side and I have to keep repositioning it every morning. I have not had a full nights sleep in my bed since we bought it. Will be calling Customer Service tomorrow to request return.

Also have problem with how it fits
First i must say i do not have a sleep number bed but have brought other items from Sleep Number.
My husband was tossing and turning in his sleep, complaining about his shoulders aching. So i did some research and decided to buy this for his birthday to help him sleep better. I have to say it is comfortable but does not fit our bed the right way. We have just a regular king size bed. ( it is not a Cal king) The topper is to to short! About 6 inches top to bottom.
I understand why they feel the need to make it just a tad to short from side to side, but not top to bottom. My husband is 6 foot and complains that his feet hang off the bottom. If i adjust it his arms slide down between the headboard and mattress and his feet do the same. I am very disappointed, which in and of itself is a shame because it has detracted so much from the comfort of this product.

Pleased with this product.
I believe this pad is a perfect companion to our sleep number bed. It is cool to sleep on, my wife almost gets too cold and needs an extra blanket. This pad hasn't moved at all since we've owned it. We love it! It is about 2" short on the length but perfect on the width. We have a California king.

Not what we expected...
We purchased this foam layer to make our c4 more comfortable, but it's not what we expected as far as comfort goes. It's just not thick enough to upgrade the feeling of this bed.
