Sleep Number ® Total Protection Mattress Pad
Wish I had read the reviews
I wish I had read the reviews on this mattress pad. Like others have stated, it is quite loud, slides around on the bed when turning over, and retains heat.
After 2 nights, we took the mattress pad off and put it aside and never thought about it again. I admit I was not diligent in returning it within the 30 day trial period. However, at this point, it is in new condition.
Given the reviews this pad gets, Sleep Number should realize at this point that they have a bad product, discontinue it, and offer some sort of credit.
I hope others don't make the same mistake.

It's unbelievable to me that after all these years no one noticed that the air tubes prohibit the mattress covers and bottom sheets to be tucked in properly and cause a wrinkled bed. The solution is simple and nearly cost free. Put a reinforced U shaped slit in both ends of the cover and sheets. Add velcro strips where the elastic was cut. Do both ends to allow reversing head to foot. I did this and it works great.

Like other reviewers, these were just too loud and "crinkly" to be comfortable. They also seem loose on the bed so constantly wrinkling underneath me. The quality of the product is good, just not for me. I will be returning.

I love this product. It has saved my mattress a few times.

I wish I read these reviews before buying
I purchased the i10 with every option you can get. I was "told" the protection pad was a must. I am past the 30 day trial and have been suffering from a loud crinkling noise every time one of us moves. We should have been told this after spending so much money. This pad was a waste of money. I hope my review keeps others from making the same mistake

Wish we skipped this one
We haven't slept on this mattress pad for a full week yet, and are already regretting this purchase. At first I thought it was the mattress but I didn't understand why it was so comfortable in the store, yet awful at home. Last night after waking up at 3 am and rolling around I noticed a crinkling noise and realized the problem is the mattress pad. I am highly dissatisfied with this selection >.<

Very loud to sleep on and holds too much heat!
My husband I purchased our sleep number ILE king size bed in the labor day sale and it took over a month for us to get it to start with but we also purchased this mattress cover due to it adding the warranty and it being waterproof. We have little ones and wanted to make sure we were protecting such a pricey product. We loved the bed in the store but after sleeping on it for about 10 days we have found that the mattress pad is very loud and you hear the plastic every time you move and it holds all your body heat. In order to get a full nights sleep, even though its broken up into little spurts due to heat and noise, we have had lowered the temperature in our house and added fans to our bed room and we are still waking up soaked. I wish we would have skipped this purchase. Due to us having to wait so long to get the bed we have had the pad over the 30 days and we are stuck with it. I am very dissatisfied with this product.

very noisy when turning or getting up out of bed
We purchased our iLE bed this year at the labor day sale, the bed was so comfortable in the store. We purchased the mattress pads to protect the mattress and warranty. We had a regular king mattress before and slept great on it and the top had NO stains on it when we sold it. Now we have 2 expensive mattress pads that make a lot of noise when one of us gets out of bed. Of course it is past the 30 day window (our mattress pads arrived far in advance of the bed. While the quality is excellent, it doesn't help us sleep better. We are affected easily by temperature and noise so this was not a good fit for us.
