Do the legs have 7.5" clearance for storage under the bed?

Alan, when you say the legs are 7.5" in height, does that mean that they give 7.5" clearance for storage under the bed?

Thank you!

Hi Boundless, thanks for taking the time to post your question about our Headboard and Footboard Brackets! I'm happy to help answer this for you.

As the hardware kit that is necessary to attach the Headboard and Footboard brackets to the Modular Base are included with the Modular Base Legs, we can't recommend using the Headboard and Footboard Brackets without combining them with the Modular Base Legs.

Hi PJ44, thanks for posting your question about using your current headboard with your new Sleep Number® bed. I'd be happy to help answer this for you.

All of our models are made to industry standard size, which means that your new King size Sleep Number® bed will be 76" in width. A traditional Queen size model will be 60" in length, meaning your current headboard will, in all probability, not be wide enough to accommodate your new bed.

If you have any other questions about your new bed, please feel free to simply post them here, or you can copy the link below and paste it into your web browser from 7AM-11PM CST seven days a week to connect with our Live Chat Agents who can also help answer any questions you may have.
