Sleep Number ® In Balance ™ Sheets
FINALLY, sheets I love and want more of
I bought these on sale in January, while upgrading my Sleep Number foundation. None of the sheets I had tried in the last several years, no matter how high the thread count, or how pricey, etc. felt quite right. This included a set from Macy's that were supposedly recommended by Oprah.
These sheets feel perfect -- super soft and comfortable. I can't really speak to the heating/cooling properties, but I have found them to be breathable and comfortable throughout the sleep cycle. I would notice if it were otherwise.
Worst thing I can say is, I wish they came in some darker colors. But
now that they're on sale again, I still might treat myself to a second set.

Aren't they supposed to KEEP you from sweating???
I'm female, post menopausal so I'm not having night sweats in case anyone wondered. I'm a so disappointed by these sheets! I have a Sleep IQ10, and was sold the in balance mattress pads as well. You'd THINK, between the bed features, the mattress pad features and the sheet features, I would not sweat like a pig. I also have the Climate Fit comforter No 2 based on where we set our thermostat overnight.
Will someone please tell me what I am doing wrong??? I've spent far too much on this bedding to not be comfortable.

Store demo fantastic. At home, not so cooling
I just purchased the InBalance sheets because I have to sleep with 3 fans on me. I love my new Sleep number bed so I thought the sheets would be great, especially with the demo in-store. I put the sheets on my bed a couple of nights ago. They are no different in cooling than my regular sheets. I did a test like they had in store and I could not tell the difference at all. They are nice sheets, but I would NEVER EVER have spent the amount of money on sheets if they don't cool as advertised.

My husband and I love these sheets!! We've had ours for 6 months and they haven't ripped or worn at all. They are soft and wonderful!

Not so temperature balancing
Not sure what all the hype was, they were supposed to be AMAZING. They feel thicker, like good quality sheets. Neat corner straps that help with thicker mattresses. The sheets don't feel cool to the touch, nor do they regulate temperature better than any other sheet I have. My previous sheets actually feel cooler. These just feel like normal, cotton sheets. Similar to hotel sheets.

A Waste of Money
I loved the idea of temperature balancing, so we purchased these sheets for our new FlexFit Split King. I hate wrinkled sheets, and these are the worst I have ever used. Now, after only three times in the washer/dryer (following the instructions), they are pilling.
We have had a sleep number bed for many years and love it, but we are so disappointed in the quality of the sheets. You can buy better at one of the large discount stores.

Like many others in this thread, a) the most expensive sheets ever purchased. b)very comfortable. c) ripped in the center. Very disappointed for the cost. Now the question is, what to use on such a deep pocket requirement.

Obviously need more research???
We just purchased our third set of "in Balance" sheets/pillow cases in four years. We very much like the temperature situation with warmer in the winter and cooler in the summer. However, the bottom sheet of two prior sets wore large holes and now wondering what to do with the good flat sheets and pillowcases that have much more life in them. My husband and I believe the price is much too inflated for the life of the bottom sheet. I would hope that we wouldn't have to do a pedicure every time we get into bed so the fitted sheet would last longer. Calluses maybe the problem stated our sales rep but question that in our use. Sure would like to purchase new bottom sheets only.
