Sleep Number ® Lyocell Sheet Set
Not Worth the Money
I am very disappointed in the quality of these sheets. I purchased two sets in January 2015, so I could switch up. I followed the washing instructions, so I couldn’t believe when one set fell apart. First the flat sheet started unraveling and then the fitted sheet torn. These are the most expensive sheets I have purchased and expected them to last. Sleep Number needs a better quality sheet!

I don't understand the negative reviews. I have had two sets of Lyocell sheets for 4 years and they are still in great shape. I like them so well, I purchased the matching duvet in stone. I wash my sheets weekly on the bedding cycle on my washer and they are still as soft and silky as when I first purchased them. The King top sheet is very generous and I wish it was about a foot less in width. Please, please keep making this sheet. I am going to purchase more just in case . . .

Softest Sheets Ever, BUT tear for no reason!
We had 1 set of these sheets and the fitted sheet tore in no time at all, but we went ahead and bought another set. The second set did the same thing! It was the flat sheet this time! Not happy! Do not buy these sheets!!!!!

best sheets ever
I bought these sheets 3 years ago. I did not follow any specific washing instruction (hot/ heavy load.. dried low heat) I am just now going to by another set only because of normal wear over 3 years. I have bought a lot of sheets and these by far have been the best!! I have never done a review on anything but felt compelled after reading the not so good reviews.

Sheets wear out
I purchased two sets of the lyocell sheets last August. Both sets of the fitted sheets have already worn out. I washed them exactly as how they are stated to be washed. I would think for the dollar amount, they would last longer than a year. I contacted Sleep Number and they referred me to the manufacturer of the sheets. The manufacturer seemed pretty aware of this issue. I was told they would replace my sheets with a new ones as long as I return old fitted sheets. I was also told it would take two weeks. It is now about a month and I haven't heard a thing. On a positive note, up until my sheets fell apart, they were soft and very comfortable. If I did not experience this problem with both my sets of sheets, I would have recommended them.

Wears out too fast
I too have had the issue of the sheets wearing out too fast. After reading someone else's review, I got a twin sheet from the cupboard and put it on my split King. Perfect fit. Now I can buy quality elsewhere and hopefully they will outlast my last sets. BTW, My original top sheet is still in great shape as is the pillow cases. It's the fitted bottom sheets that don't last. It sleep by number were to sell just a fitted twin, depending on price I might be tempted to purchase it as the really are comfortable sheets.

Longevity of Lyocell Bed Sheets - not very good
Have had a motorized Sleep Number Queen Size Bed for 4 yrs and have purchased the Lyocell sheets every 12-18 mons ... following the washing instructions. Have to now purchase another set of bed sheets but am reluctant to repeatedly buy Lyocell due to the high cost of the product ... and now having read similar complaints in this review ... but I do love the feel and texture of Lyocell ... and may still do so if there is a considerable discount or sale.

Large Sheets, Silky Feel
These sheets are ample in size and have a soothing, silky texture. The colors, too, are lovely and versatile.
All my linens -- and practically all other washable items -- are washed in HOT water, so these sheets may not last as long as I would wish. Meanwhile, they are clean, smooth, and pretty. Just a delight!
