Sleep Number ® Lyocell Sheet Set
Wears out too fast
I too have had the issue of the sheets wearing out too fast. After reading someone else's review, I got a twin sheet from the cupboard and put it on my split King. Perfect fit. Now I can buy quality elsewhere and hopefully they will outlast my last sets. BTW, My original top sheet is still in great shape as is the pillow cases. It's the fitted bottom sheets that don't last. It sleep by number were to sell just a fitted twin, depending on price I might be tempted to purchase it as the really are comfortable sheets.

Longevity of Lyocell Bed Sheets - not very good
Have had a motorized Sleep Number Queen Size Bed for 4 yrs and have purchased the Lyocell sheets every 12-18 mons ... following the washing instructions. Have to now purchase another set of bed sheets but am reluctant to repeatedly buy Lyocell due to the high cost of the product ... and now having read similar complaints in this review ... but I do love the feel and texture of Lyocell ... and may still do so if there is a considerable discount or sale.

Large Sheets, Silky Feel
These sheets are ample in size and have a soothing, silky texture. The colors, too, are lovely and versatile.
All my linens -- and practically all other washable items -- are washed in HOT water, so these sheets may not last as long as I would wish. Meanwhile, they are clean, smooth, and pretty. Just a delight!

Second set, seems fall apart after a couple of washing. Plan on restiching or buy other brand!

LOVE MY LYOCELL SHEETS
We have been sleeping on the amethyst Lyocell sheets since 2010. I purchase my sets when they are 50% off so I feel that I am getting a great value for my money. I have not experienced any shredding or tearing with my sheets. I had one white set that lost its silky feel quickly and I gave them away. The amethyst have held up well over time. I wash them on the quick cycle and I dry each sheet separately. It takes about 15 minutes for the sheet to dry and I fold immediately. These sheets are my absolute favorites. I highly recommend them to anyone wanting a silky feeling, soft, and comfortable sheet set.

they feel amazing
i love the way these sheets feel. weird that the purple one doesn't have same feel as the green and blue i got but still nice. the only complaint i have about these sheets is the durability. i guess i didn't follow washing instructions but who wants to wash sheets with cold water and delicately?

purchase without thinking through
We bought our sleep number bed about 10 years ago. Wanted a king but realized our bedroom was to small. They suggested the queen plus 6. Great idea-------except purchasing sheets!!!! I love the sheets---textures is so soft BUT 6 sets later after torn bottom sheets---I will now be buying King sheets somewhere else and altering them to fit my queen plus mattress!!!!! Not happy with my purchase any longer.

sheets shred!! 3rd set we have had that did this!
We have owned our Select Comfort bed for 9 years. We are on our 5th set of sheets, however, the first two sets were much better than the last three. We have only been able to get approximately 14 - 18 months out of the last three sets of sheets. We see other people have experienced the same issue as us. The sheets wear thin, and start ripping through. The last set lasted just slightly longer than the set before. At the price they are charging for these sheets, they should definitely be lasting longer. We only wash ours according to Select Comfort guidelines, and yet have not been able to make them last any longer than others who have posted reviews on this site. Currently the 'tear' in our sheets is almost 4 feet long, and I am basically sleeping on the mattress pad underneath. I need to order another set, but am hesitating wondering if there is another choice out there.
