Sleep Number ® Lyocell Sheet Set
Job security for customer service
I don't usually do reviews, however after reading them I was encouraged to do so. I thought it was just mine and a fluke of getting an inferior set of sheets, but I must say I agree with the majority. By all the recommendations from Sleep Number to contact customer service regarding these problems, I would think they would realize there IS a problem with the quality of the Lyocell sheets they sell and would be willing to stand behind them. No one knows "what the cause" of the tears in the sheet comes from, but come on, there is no way that many people are having the same complaint and would be "abusing" their sheets. The sheets are very comfortable, however in 42 years of marriage and purchasing sheets throughout the years I have NEVER had a sheet wear out to the point of holes in them until I purchased these. The fitted one wore clear through and the flat sheet is so ratty around the edges it looks like it's a rag. They are way overpriced and I can easily find a replacement set for under $30.00. They might not be as comfortable, but I can live with that. Guess where Sleep Number sheet sets are made??? Another reason to go with a different brand.

Bad Quality, Pulls, Fading After Washing Twice
We have had a sleep number bed and also a mattress pad which we like. When I saw these sheets on sale I figured they would be good quality and decided to try these rather than buying another set of the Comphy sheets I had for many years.
I just put them on my bed, removing them immediately from the dryer and not only are they a wrinkled mess, the tan color has become uneven and where our feet were there are pulls in the fabric.
Having worked in the textile business, Select Comfort has to go back to their manufacturer since something is defective in both the quality and color set of the dyeing of the fabric.

Most comfortable sheets ever! But wear out fast!!!
We purchased these sheets a couple months after we purchased the bed itself. I had purchased 2 sets of the comfort dry sheets and wanted something super soft and luxurious feeling to rotate with. I absolutely loved the feel of the sheets! We loved them and rotated between the 4 sets. A YEAR after purchasing these sheets (following care instructions perfectly) they started to become SO THIN you could see through them! I was putting them on our bed and noticed it. The next morning we woke up and when my husband rolled over I noticed a HUGE hole! We wore right through the sheets! I looked at the second set and noticed they were wearing super thin as well. I thought maybe it was just a fluke? Our other two sets are perfect still! Our Lyocell sheets didn't even make it 2 years, how sad is that? I paid $200+ and they wore out so quickly! I would never purchase them again, that is way to much money for bedding that literally wears out that quickly. I am so incredibly disappointed.

Cheap and just gets worse
When we first got them, they were fine. Then we washed them and they came out wrinkled and felt like thin cheesecloth. They got worse after each washing. It got to the point where they bunched up and got totally out of shape and we were sleeping on a bunch of wrinkles. They just didn't feel good to sleep on any longer. Afte two months I contacted customer service and they wouldn't do anything since I was past heir warranty date of 30 days. I will never buy this brand from sleep number again and I would strongly recommend you NOT buy this brand either. If you do, wash tem three or four times before the 30 day warranty period.

tears after 1year? Seriously?
I will not be buying this product ever again. I LOVED them when we got them, but seriously, after 1 year of normal use, the fitted sheet has ripped. I won't be buying this product nor any other sheets from Sleep Number. Who wants to pay over $120 for sheets that rip. Buyer beware........

Very poor quality for the price. Sure they are comfortable but wear and tear quickly.

I've owned the Lyocell pearl and topaz for my queen sized i8 bed since April 2011. These sheets are excellent for the summer months! They're very soft and comfortable to sleep in. The only thing with these sheets is to fold them right away after drying otherwise they'll be super wrinkled. It also shows stains very easily and hard to get rid of stains. I've had no issues with the sheets shrinking, not fitting properly, or ripping/tearing.

Not for the price
Just read all the reviews and I totally agree..great feeling sheets but they shred and we have a slit king and rotate from side to side and bottom to top..so disappointed that I'll have to find sheets elsewhere..split king not easy to come by
