Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not Happy with Purchase My purchase was in February of 2016 My husband and I wanted to upgrade our mattress and decided to try Sleep Number. After over two hours in their store we were torn between a lower cost mattress and base and the much more expensive i10 and flex fit3 base. During the entire sales process our sale person (Vanessa) who was very nice kept referring to their 100 night guarantee. If we weren't happy with our selection we could return or exchange it. With that peace of mind we opted for the more expensive choice along with sheets, pillows, pillow protectors and a mattress cover. The total cost was more than the cost of my first new car. A little sticker shock to say the least, but a good night's sleep is important and, after all, if we could return it why not? The delivery process was amazing. It was faster than expected and the delivery guys were nice. They didn't provide much education around how to use SleepIQ or setting up the bed remotes (as I was told they would do) but with the instruction manual in hand I figured it out. After several days, I knew the bed wasn't for me. I have shoulder issues on my right side and the pain and the pressure on that shoulder was pretty severe. I tried making the mattress firmer and then softer and adjusting the head up and down. Nothing worked. Additionally I had some issues with the overall quality of the bed - - noisy air pump when inflating, bed would soften over time like it wasn't holding the air, very warm sleeping temperature even though I was told the mattress had cooling technology, not a true plush top mattress as I could feel the "wrinkles" in the mattress below the surface when not fully inflated, massage unit was so loud that it wasn't even not relaxing and even on the softest setting the mattress felt uncomfortable and hard in places - - maybe it was those "wrinkles") So, to me, the bed felt like a glorified hospital bed, not the quality sleep experience I was looking for given the price I'd paid. Even my Sleep IQ numbers showed a less than wonderful sleep experience. They would typically range in the low 70's and 60's, no where near the 90's I was told would mean I was getting a superior night's sleep. And, for the time I've had the bed, my average SleepIQ was 74 and it showed I was restless an average of 1 hr and 11 min per night. needless to say, we contacted customer service to take advantage of the 100 night risk free benefit. That experience was also less than stellar. Let me just say our "Risk Free" purchase was anything but. But that's a whole different story.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wonderful--had it for 1 year We got our i10 split king bed 13 months ago. It is heavenly. Got it because my husband had to sleep sitting up for over 6 months due to a medical issue. Yes the "split" between mattresses can be felt, but its well worth the flexibility of being able to adjust each side independently. In a review below someone complains about getting stuck in the crack and the mattresses separating.....we've had no problem with that, they are securely fastened together....only our cats notice the crack if their paw steps in it. We previously had a regular king for 5 years, loved it and moved it to our rental condo when we needed a bed over there, so that was a good time for us to get a split king, which I previously thought was too expensive but now could justify the need.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Repeat customer We bought our first sleep number about 18 years ago. The padding was getting loose so it was time for a new bed. Any issues we had with our first bed the company made good on, so I didn't think twice in getting w second one. Our new i10 is like sleeping on a cloud!! I love the bed! These beds are not the cheapest but they last and their customer service is great!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great Bed, Far too expensive Got this bed for my Mom. She loves it but considering the materials used the markup is far too high. I would never pay this for my own bed

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Like Sleeping with Angels I bought my i10 over a year ago, I LOVE LOVE LOVE IT. I loved it so much my brother and my best friend also bought an i10! My bed is fantastic when I go away I MISS my bed and can't wait to get back into it. My only regret is not buying flexfit 3 I got 2. The only thing that I am kind of annoyed at is the bed seems to be shrinking it's supposed to be 15" and I only have 12" now wed are not heavy so I am not sure why it has broken down in such a short time, sleep number is sending replacement foam and hopefully this will do the trick.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love our Sleep Number bed We bought our first sleep number bed 10+ years ago when they first came out. We bought the top of their line at that time as it was the most comfortable when trying them out. We had spent thousands of dollars on new mattresses over many years that seemed to work great the first month or two then began killing our backs. And as with most stores, once you buy a bed, its yours, there are no returns unless you sleep on the plastic they are wrapped in..... Now how can you truly be comfortable on a plastic covered bed that makes noise every time you turn over.... Sooooo, we decided to pay the extra dollars and give the Sleep Number bed a try. We've had absolutely no regrets at all. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE IT....we are looking to buy another one so we can move the one we have to my parents house, that way when we visit, so we don't have to suffer on a regular old bed and still have our Sleep Number bed...and still have restful nights. We wouldn't trade our Sleep Number bed for any other beds....
