If a doctor diagnoses you with a health condition and writes you a letter of medical necessity recommending a Sleep Number® smart bed or a DualTemp layer to help with this condition, you may be able to use your HSA or FSA dollars to cover a portion of the cost. HSA and FSA plans may vary, so check with your plan administrator to confirm eligibility. ​
What Sleep Number products can I purchase with my HSA/FSA dollars?​
If eligible, you may be able to use your pre-tax HSA or FSA dollars to purchase any Sleep Number® smart bed, smart adjustable base, or a DualTemp layer.

How do I use my HSA/FSA dollars for my Sleep Number purchase?
1. Contact your HSA/FSA plan administrator and ask if your Sleep Number purchase will be covered under your plan and what documentation is needed so that you can use your HSA/FSA dollars for your purchase.
2. Talk to your health care provider about obtaining a letter of medical necessity.
3. Purchase the Sleep Number product that your health care provider recommended in the letter of medical necessity.
4. If required, submit the letter of medical necessity and any other related details to your HSA/FSA administrator for reimbursement. Please note, the claims process varies by plan, so be sure to check with your plan administrator for details.
