Press the star button or hold down the button on top of your remote. The remote will prompt you to save the current position as your Favorite Setting. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Flat and Favorite will operate the bed differently if you have a FlexTop<sup>®</sup> or Split King bed.</p>\n<p><strong>FlexTop<sup>®</sup> Size</strong></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Favorite will operate both sides of the bed together, because the foot of the bed must adjust at the same time for this setting.</li>\n<li>Flat will return the foot to flat and the head of the selected side to flat. Sleeping with a partner? They should follow these same steps, to find their own setting. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Steps to finding your Sleep Number<sup>®</sup> setting</h2>\n<p>When you follow these steps, you’ll experience a range of Sleep Number<sup>®</sup> settings, from the firmest (100) to a very soft setting. Experiencing the entire range will make it easier to determine what level of support feels best to you.</p>\n<ol>\n<li>\n<h3><strong> Lie on your bed</strong></h3>\n</li>\n</ol>\n<p class=\"wysiwyg-indent4\">With your remote in hand, lie down in your normal sleeping position—whether that’s your back, side or stomach. As the bed gets firmer, relax and pay attention to how your body feels.</p>\n<p>After reaching the firmest setting, your bed will get softer. Again, pay attention to how your body feels as the bed gets softer.</p>\n</li>\n<li>\n<h3><strong>Find your ideal level of support—your Sleep Number<sup>®</sup> setting</strong></h3>\n</li>\n</ol>\n<ul class=\"wysiwyg-indent4\">Next, your bed will gradually increase in firmness. The moment your body feels perfectly supported, with no discomfort at your pressure points, select Enter or press Stop. You have found your Sleep Number setting! Your app will automatically save this setting as your Favorite Sleep Number Setting. You can use your remote to save your setting too.   </ul>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>What comfort and alignment look like</h2>\n<p>At your ideal Sleep Number<sup>®</sup> setting your neck and back should be aligned in the same position as when you’re standing.</p>\n<ul>\n<li>If you sleep on your back, the mattress should “fill in” to support the small of your back.</li>\n<li>If you sleep on your side, the mattress should “fill in” to support the curves of your side.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Through the use of DualAir™ technology, the Sleep Number<sup>®</sup> mattress conforms to your body—and gives you incredible comfort and support.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Give your Sleep Number<sup>®</sup> setting a few nights</h2>\n<p>We recommend sleeping at your Sleep Number<sup>®</sup> setting for two to five nights.
