That's why we're thrilled you decided to purchase a Sleep Number<sup>®</sup>bed.</em></p>\n<p>Preparing for your delivery begins with registering your SleepIQ<sup>®</sup> account and knowing what to expect before your delivery. This article covers your delivery checklist:</p>\n<h2><strong>Checklist</strong></h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Register your SleepIQ<sup>® </sup>account</li>\n<li>Check your electrical outlet</li>\n<li>Prepare your bedroom and furniture</li>\n<li>Be home for your delivery or have someone 18 or older home for the delivery</li>\n<li>Know your Wi-Fi password</li>\n</ul>\n<h2><span class=\"wysiwyg-font-size-large\"><strong>Registering your SleepIQ<sup>®</sup> account</strong></span></h2>\n<p><em>After you register, you are ready for our technicians to pair your bed to your SleepIQ<sup>®</sup> account. You can start exploring the Feed section of the app right away.  You'll find helpful sleep tips, real stories, and information about the features of your new.</em></p>\n<p><em> Follow these steps to register your account before your bed arrives:  </em></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Download the SleepIQ<sup>®</sup> app</li>\n</ul>\n<p class=\"wysiwyg-indent4\">Visit the App Store or Google Play to download and install the SleepIQ<sup>®</sup> app on your device. If you purchased your bed in store, you may have already downloaded the app.</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Open the app and register your SleepIQ<sup>®</sup> account</li>\n</ul>\n<p class=\"wysiwyg-indent4\">Follow the steps in the app to register your SleepIQ<sup>®</sup> account. You will be prompted to enter your order number, email address or phone number and Wi-Fi password.</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Add sleeper profiles to your account</li>\n</ul>\n<p class=\"wysiwyg-indent4\">Add your sleeper profile to indicate which side of the bed you sleep on, your sleep goal and other details. </p>\n<p class=\"wysiwyg-indent4\">Sleeping with a partner? Add them to your account too, so they can track their sleep and adjust their side of the bed from their own device.  </p>\n<p>For more details about preparing for SleepIQ<sup>®</sup> setup before your delivery, read <a href=\"https://www.sleepnumber.com/support/categories/204218648-SleepIQ-App/articles/230551507-Setting-Up-SleepIQ-Technology\">Setting Up SleepIQ<sup>®</sup></a>.<strong> </strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<h2><strong>Check your electrical outlet</strong></h2>\n<p>All Sleep Number<sup>®</sup> beds must be near a grounded working electrical outlet so you can plug in and control the air pressure and position of your bed.  Test a lamp or phone charger to make sure your outlet is working before our Home Delivery Team arrives.</p>\n<p><font size=\"4\"><strong>Prepare Your Bedroom &amp; Furniture</strong></font></p>\n<p>Make sure the delivery and setup of your bed goes smoothly. Before your bed arrives: </p>\n<h3 class=\"wysiwyg-indent2\"><strong>Remove current frame if not using</strong></h3>\n<p class=\"wysiwyg-indent2\">If you have a bed frame currently but won't be using it with your new bed, please remove it from your bedroom before your Home Delivery team arrives.</p>\n<p class=\"wysiwyg-indent2\">Keep your current mattress until your delivery.  Our Home Delivery technicians will be happy to haul away your old mattress or move your old mattress to a different room for you. </p>\n<h3 class=\"wysiwyg-indent2\"><strong>Using your existing furniture?</strong></h3>\n<p class=\"wysiwyg-indent2\">Depending on what base you chose for your bed, there will be different setup options to consider before your delivery. Read our helpful <a href=\"https://www.sleepnumber.com/support/categories/204141568-Set-Up-or-Move-Your-Bed/articles/233079108-Furniture-Fit-Guide\">Furniture Fit Guide</a> to make sure your furniture will work with your Sleep Number bed.  </p>\n<p class=\"wysiwyg-indent2\">Our technicians will set up your bed inside your existing furniture.  </p>\n<h3 class=\"wysiwyg-indent2\"><strong>Planning on attaching a headboard?</strong></h3>\n<p class=\"wysiwyg-indent2\">Review your order to make sure you purchased headboard brackets. Our technicians will attach the headboard bracket to your Sleep Number base, so that you can attach your headboard.  </p>\n<p class=\"wysiwyg-indent2\">IMPORTANT: Sleep Number technicians will not disassemble furniture, assemble furniture, or drill holes in your furniture.
