Sleep Number ® FlexFit ⢠2 Adjustable Base
What about us?
I recently purchased my second adjustable bed, the FlexFit 2, this past August (my original was nine years old). I have a queen mattress and I was expecting the same quality as I experienced before. I would have higher ratings but I feel you dropped the ball when you did your focus groups. You may have left out individuals with arthritis and persons with disabilities.
Accessibility is the issue. Your triangle remote looks great, l even like it that it lights up with the slightest movement, has Zero-G, snore, and a timer. However, I am a quadriplegic of 30 years and have come up with many ways of working out solutions when a challenged is presented, but I cannot work your remote because all the buttons are recessed. I am sure those with arthritis cannot work it as well. You may have missed this demographic entirely. Your present remote has more options, but the previous remote had buttons that were available and easier to operate. But you made the remote more difficult here is why:
Previous: There were three different positions presets settings, as well as flat. Plus an up and down. All buttons were accessible.
Present: Now you have to take extra steps. Select head or foot, then up and down. Select favorites, then your favorite position you programmed or flat, snore, or Zero-G. Plus the triangle shape moves from side to side when individuals with limited hand function try to press the buttons. Most frustrating. I use your product to prevent bed sores.
If you are conducting some R&D, please take the following into account. Make the remote voice activated. Increase the number of programmable position (5), allow for personalized naming of those positions. This is in addition to snore, Zero G, timer and flat. You can add all the options you want but if we cannot select them, whatâs the point.
Many baby boomers with strong resources will be entering this market if they haven't already. It will be sad if a little remote is the difference maker.
BTW - I did contact you directly and was told a call back would come but never did.

Flex fit Adjustable 2 base with I-8 mattress
Together this combination of a bed is great! Very comfortable and with the adjustable controls you can discover almost any position that helps with back pain, reading, watching T.V. Etc. I am so happy to own this bed! The only complaint I had was the frame has roller wheel casters on the bottom. These wheels locks in position, but I have a hard ceramic tile floor, which allowed the bace to slide. Sleep Number Support sent me floor rubber cups (8) to fix the problem. I was provided a significant discount, but still feel this should have not cost me a dime, since I have a very significant investment in the I-8 bed, with an adjustable flexfit 2 bace frame. But overall I am a very happy owner of a sleep number bed! I would highly recommend anyone to buy this beg. It's wonderful and exceeds your expectations of a bed!

Best purchase for my back pain
I recently purchased a P5 with the adjustable 2 base to replace my 14 year old Sleep Number mattress. I couldn't be happier with my purchase. It has made a world of difference in the amount of sleep I get every night. My sleep number is 45 but I have found that while relaxing in bed with the head of the bed raised I prefer the bed to be at 55. I feel the higher number gives me a little more support. The joy of a Sleep Number is that I can change it to my needs.

Wrong Purchase and worse purchase ever
Very poor quality. The worse mistake I have ever made in my life.
Buying the bed dumping money in trash can.
