Sleep Number® FlexFit 2 Adjustable Base

Sleep Number ® FlexFit ™ 2 Adjustable Base 3.3 5 3 3
Flex fit Adjustable 2 base with I-8 mattress Together this combination of a bed is great! Very comfortable and with the adjustable controls you can discover almost any position that helps with back pain, reading, watching T.V. Etc. I am so happy to own this bed! The only complaint I had was the frame has roller wheel casters on the bottom. These wheels locks in position, but I have a hard ceramic tile floor, which allowed the bace to slide. Sleep Number Support sent me floor rubber cups (8) to fix the problem. I was provided a significant discount, but still feel this should have not cost me a dime, since I have a very significant investment in the I-8 bed, with an adjustable flexfit 2 bace frame. But overall I am a very happy owner of a sleep number bed! I would highly recommend anyone to buy this beg. It's wonderful and exceeds your expectations of a bed! July 26, 2014
Best purchase for my back pain I recently purchased a P5 with the adjustable 2 base to replace my 14 year old Sleep Number mattress. I couldn't be happier with my purchase. It has made a world of difference in the amount of sleep I get every night. My sleep number is 45 but I have found that while relaxing in bed with the head of the bed raised I prefer the bed to be at 55. I feel the higher number gives me a little more support. The joy of a Sleep Number is that I can change it to my needs. May 25, 2014
Wrong Purchase and worse purchase ever Very poor quality. The worse mistake I have ever made in my life. Buying the bed dumping money in trash can. April 18, 2014

Hi again LDTC, thanks for asking further questions about our new FlexFit 2 remote! This will only work with our Advanced DualAir Technology, however. If you’d like more information on our FlexFit bases, please just copy the following link and paste it into your web browser anytime from 7 AM to 11 PM CT and we’ll be happy to go over more details with you.

Congratulations on your new bed, Bert! All of our sheets are designed to have the same name as the bed size they fit to help prevent confusion when ordering. For instance, Split King sheets work for Split King beds. The same is true of our Split California King, FlexTop (King), and FlexTop California King sizes. If you're not quite sure which size your bed is, we can help with that too! Just copy the link below and paste it into your web browser anytime from 7 AM to 11 PM CT to talk with us live and we'll be happy to find your file and let you know which size your bed is so you can order the sheets you need.

Answer:
Thanks for giving us a chance to answer this for you, Cherbear. The information you received in the store is correct; our adjustable bases need to be in contact with the floor to work properly and it's not possible for the base to rest on the drawers you have under your bed, so the legs of the adjustable base can’t be entirely removed. If the drawers take up the entire space under your bed, they most likely won't work with our adjustable bases. If the drawers are mostly placed around the edge of your bed, there's still a chance we can get this to work for you and we'd encourage you to copy the link below and paste it into your web browser anytime from 7 AM to 11 PM CT so we can learn more about your current bed and let you know for sure if our adjustable bases will work with your drawers.

Answer:
Thanks for asking, DoctorSid! The Snore feature on our FlexFit2 base is a preset position you can select from your remote that lifts the head of the bed 5-7 inches to elevate your upper body. Raising the head of the bed can help open breathing pathways, which can in turn reduce mild snoring for some owners. On a Queen size bed, the entire bed is raised when you select the Snore position. Our Partner Snore option, which allows you to raise your partner's side of the bed to this position while leaving the head of your bed at its original setting, is only available on Split and Flextop size beds that allow each side of the bed to adjust independently.

If you have any other questions about the Snore feature or want more information on any of our beds or FlexFit bases, please just post them here or copy the link below and paste it into your web browser anytime from 7 AM to 11 PM CT and we’ll be happy to go over more details with you.

Answer:
Thanks for asking, Daneed! The initial price you see listed when you click on one of our bed models includes the cost of the mattress and a modular base, which doesn’t feature an adjustable head or foot. We think it’s important for you to know that the price you see listed when clicking one of our FlexFit™ adjustable bases does NOT include a mattress. You can add one of our FlexFit™ adjustable bases to your mattress by selecting your bed, clicking the "Customize Your Order" button, then clicking the base option in our menu and choosing your preferred base. Once you choose the base you want, the order total will be updated to match your choice. If you have any other questions about our beds or would like us to look into a price quote for you, please just copy the link below and paste it into your web browser anytime from 7 AM to 11 PM CT

What do we need to purchase?

We bought a king Sleep Number bed in 2012 and we love it. We would like to add the flex-fit base. What would we need to purchase?

Hi LIsa, we're excited you're interested in adding our FlexFit Adjustable Base to your current mattress! I'm happy to help answer this for you.

All of our FlexFit Adjustable Bases are free standing and don't require any other accessories to be used with our bed. We do offer a number of accessories that can be added to any of our adjustable base to change the height of the base, and even a surround to give the adjustable base a finished look.

If you have any other questions about our FlexFit Adjustable Bases or any of the accessories we offer, please feel free to simply post another question, or you can copy the link below and paste it into your web browser to connect with our Live Chat Agents.

do you get the base and mattress

Do you get the base and mattress for the price that is shown or is it for the mattress then buy the base separate. Also are all the bases adjustable? Thank you for your time!
