Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between split top and flex fit when choosing a mattress?
When picking a mattress size the difference between Split and FlexTop is the way your bed will work when paired with an adjustable base. If you select Split King/Split California King, you will receive two separate mattresses, and will have complete independent adjustability of the head and foot for each side on an adjustable base. If you select FlexTop King/FlexTop California King, there will be a split at the head of your mattress, but the foot will be joined together, and when matched with an adjustable base you can articulate the head of each side separately, but the foot will move in unison.
What is the size difference between the split king and split CA king?
Split King is two separate mattresses set side by side measuring approximately 38" wide by 80" long, while Split California King's two mattresses will measure 36" wide by 84" long.
What is the difference between a full and a double size mattress?
Our Full size means there is just one chamber, while our Double size means there are two air chambers in the mattress. The size will be the same for each mattress (about 54" wide by 75" long).
Does the queen mattress split at the top so that each side can be raised separately?
Our Queen size models are not currently offered in a split style, so when paired with an adjustable base the head will move as one, as well as the foot.
Are FlexTop and Split design mattresses available in Queen size?
No. Our exclusive FlexTop and split mattress options are only available in King or California King sizes.
What is the difference between a King bed and a Split King bed?
Split King will be two separate Twin Extra Long mattresses set side by side and is most often paired with an adjustable base for independent articulation of the head and foot of your bed. A King size will be one mattress measuring 76" wide by 80" long and will not be split.
Can I use this with my sleigh bed frame?
All of our beds are made to industry standard size and are compatible with most bedroom furniture.
What are the half split mattresses?
The half split mattresses are called FlexTop and they are available in FlexTop King (76" by 80") or FlexTop California King (72" by 84").
