Sleep Number and the American Cancer Society (ACS) teamed up with Micah Parsons to surprise cancer patients staying at the Gene and Jerry Jones Family Hope Lodge with brand new Sleep Number® pillows and autographed gear.

Micah Parsons arrived at the Gene and Jerry Jones Family Hope Lodge with a special surprise delivery: new Sleep Number® PlushComfortTM pillows and autographed Dallas Cowboys gear. Cancer patients often struggle with sleep, so Sleep Number and the American Cancer Society teamed up to send over new supplies to help cancer patients and their caregivers get more quality sleep while staying at the Hope Lodge.

“Sleep quality is a documented problem for many cancer patients,” Steve Lange from the American Cancer Society said. “Typically, side effects from cancer treatment, stress, and also just pain related to the cancer can cause these problems with sleep.”

Micah knows how important sleep is for physical recovery and he hopes that this donation will help patients and caregivers at the Hope Lodge sleep better and possibly recover faster.

“Having my Sleep Number pillow to get extra naps and to make sure I’m recovering just goes the extra mile,” Micah said.

While he was at the Hope Lodge, Micah spent the day talking to patients and learning about their journeys.
