Blue Star Families, Synchrony, Sleep Number and NFL star Clyde Edwards-Helaire honored 10 local military heroes and their families at a free smart bed giveaway event, plus $1,000 savings accounts.

Chinook helicopter mechanic Nolan Schimelpfenig and his wife Allison's new queen Sleep Number 360^® c4 smart bed couldn't be arriving at a better time. The couple had planned to buy a new bed set but opted to save up to purchase a house instead.

Presented by Kansas City Chiefs running back Clyde Edwards-Helaire, Nolan and Allison were among 10 military families who on January 30, 2023, received a Sleep Number 360^® smart bed and a $1,000 Synchrony savings account from our 21 year financing partner, Synchrony, with the collaboration of the nonprofit Blue Star Families at a Sleep Number^® store in Kansas City.

The smart bed giveaway was held in honor of military heroes' daily sacrifices so our families can sleep safe and sound at night.
